This 45 cm necklace is made with 10 mm South Sea shell-core pearls in shades of brown, bronze, gold, mauve and olive green. Small transparent seed beads create delicate spaces between the pearls. The necklace is hand-knotted and the pearls have an AAA lustre. An 18-carat gold-plated decorative clasp set with zirconia is deliberately integrated into the composition and becomes a visual feature in its own right.
