«Surfaces of Light» pearl necklace
About this piece
Clean forms define the character of this pearl necklace. White and Peacock rectangular pearls alternate in a balanced rhythm. Their natural growth structures refract the light in different ways and give each pearl its own presence. The result is a composition that combines calmness with vitality.
A Small Piece of History
Pearls are often valued for their lustre, but their natural growth characteristics are equally fascinating. Small ridges, grooves and structures reveal something of how they formed. It is precisely these traces that make each pearl unique and cause the light to move differently across every surface.
