«Meander» pearl necklace
About this piece
White baroque freshwater pearls create a striking contrast with the clean lines of the gold-plated meander elements. At the centre, a finely detailed lion’s head adds a strong accent. The result is a necklace that combines classical ornament with natural form and brings together calmness and character.
A Small Piece of History
The meander is one of the oldest ornaments in European cultural history. Named after the ancient Maeander River in Asia Minor, its unbroken line has symbolised continuity, connection and the ongoing path of life since antiquity. Even today, this motif gives jewellery a timeless presence.
