«Echo of the Sea» pearl necklace
About this piece
Soft drop-shaped forms lead the eye towards a pendant of shimmering abalone. Depending on the light, shades of blue and green shift in depth and give the composition a lively presence. The restrained form language gives the piece a timeless and balanced expression.

For centuries, abalone has been valued by many coastal cultures for its iridescent shell. Its shifting colours recall the depth of the sea and have often been associated with calm, change and a connection to nature.
